Well, if I remember correctly, -p disables memory protection. I wouldn't
expect any problems without mem. prot., since earlier versions also didn't
have mem. prot.. (I didn't check thou). But if you say, that the ROM AES
doesn't work with mem. prot., why can I work with the machine without a
loaded GDOS. I use TOSWIN with the three ROM fonts, no problem.
My guess would be, that a GDOS trys to access some memory, that is doesn't
own and hangs up the machine.
But if your are right, would that mean, that all users (with 68030 updated
ST's for example would need new TOS ROM's?
